Cemetery

Shipston Town Council are responsible for the Cemetery on the London Road – A beautiful setting on the outskirts of Shipston on Stour, regularly maintained by the Council’s contractors. The Cemetery features a Twin Chapel – two chapel buildings joined together by a single steeple that serves as an entrance arch. Currently closed to the public, but the Council are hopeful to renovate these buildings for community use in the future.

Fees

The following costs are for the interment of residents of Shipston-on-Stour.
PLEASE NOTE that at the discretion of the Town Council, the charges shown below will normally be doubled for non-residents of Shipston, and for past residents who have not lived in Shipston during the previous 2 years.

Gravestones, Tablets and Inscriptions	PLEASE NOTE that no new monument may be placed, or additional inscription added to an existing monument until written approval has been received from The Town Council. All applications for approval must be made in writing.
