Nature action meeting

The Local Nature Action Plan is an important document that has been adopted by Shipston Town Council. ‘It affects all of us and will help people work together to tackle the decline in biodiversity,’ says Councillor Hilary Kelly. Now the Council is seeking residents’ input to identify opportunities for improving biodiversity in Shipston.

What changes or improvements would you like to see in your area of town? Do you want more trees, or wildflowers? Would you like to join with neighbours to make a hedgehog highway? Can small corners in town be made more butterfly friendly? Would you like to be able to identify birds, or the creatures living in our hedgerows?

Come along to the annual town meeting on April 21st at 7pm in the Townsend Hall with requests and ideas, or to ask what the council is doing for nature locally.
