Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day

This year’s Remembrance Sunday is on 8 November and will be marked in town by a parade from the High Street led by the Town Band at 10.45am, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony and two-minute silence at the War Memorial on Church Street.  There will then be a service at St Edmund’s Church.

Please note temporary road closures will be in place on that day from 9am-12.30pm.

Armistice Day on 11 November will be marked with a ceremony and a two minute-silence at the Gyratory Memorial Garden.

See the November issue of the Forum or the RBL notice board in The Bury for full details.
