The Townsend Hall Needs You

Hopefully, as a Shipston resident, you will be aware of the Townsend Hall in Sheep Street and will have attended one of the many activities hosted there.
The Townsend Hall is a community facility, run by a charitable trust led by a management committee of volunteers. It hosts live music, drama, dance, sporting activities, exercise classes, talks, children’s events, community meetings, charity events, parties and much more and, thanks to its charitable status and fundraising activities, we are able to offer all this at affordable rates to the whole community of Shipston and surrounding areas.

With a now reduced number of committed trustees, it is becoming more of a challenge to keep the show on the road. To enable this facility to stay vibrant for the need of the Shipston growing community, we are urgently looking for support. There are various ways to get involved either as a trustee or volunteer. Please help us to keep this amazing community facility alive, busy and delivering what our lovely town needs.
