Transforming the Sensory Garden

Shipston’s Sensory Garden, a quiet little gem at the end of Mayo Road, has been transformed over the last couple of years, thanks to volunteers.

‘They have worked hard to restore and replant this area of tranquility, despite some thoughtless people damaging, and even stealing from, this garden,’ says town councillor Hilary Kelly, who
would love to know more about the history of the garden – little is known about its origins.

Additional helpers are more than welcome, says volunteer Wendy Nursall: ‘You can give as much or as little time as you can spare.’
